Biofarm.

Branding and website for Biofarm, a re-wilding start-up working for developers, and with landowners, to transform unproductive land into thriving, lasting habitats.

The challenge on this project was having two very different audiences - the developers that needed to offset the land they were building on, and the landowners Biofarm partner with to create the habitats. Working with DACRE agency we landed on a concept that celebrated how in both of these opposing worlds, mighty things grow from the tiny - oak trees from acorns and buildings from bricks.

Commissioning beautiful illustrations by Zoe Barker of these elements we created a consistent world that hero both industries, and followed this through everything, down to the bespoke typography that moves from sharp to smooth lines within a single letter. We captured the results of Biofarms work with nature photography from Zoe Salt.

I designed and built a squarespace website which has seen a 202% increase in it’s users since the rebrand. The simple site with use of white space means the relatively complicated message land while parallax illustrations and collages stop it feeling sterile.

Proving the branding can stretch to anything we have designed event stands, OOH and print ads, and even Christmas cards that all land Biofarms message and set it apart from their competitors.
